Attorney
Visiting US Supreme Court
Brendon has been an attorney for over 15 years. The bulk of his career was at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office where he proudly worked in the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Divisions. Brendon is now a supervisor at the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board where he works to ensure fair and accurate assessments across Cook County. -

Husband and Father of Three Boys
Brendon is a dedicated family man. Outside of work and volunteering, Brendon is focused on building Legos, cleaning up toys, shuffling kids to gymnastics, baseball, Arabic lessons, and generally being there for his wife and children. Brendon is running for Committeeman to help improve the community and the state of politics for his children’s generation. -

Volunteer
Improving Our Communities
Brendon is involved in a number of legal organizations including the Chicago Bar Association, the South Suburban Bar Association, and the Arab American Bar Association. Brendon is a co-committee chair the CBA’s Law and Debate Club which teaches trial advocacy and public speaking to high school students. Here, Brendon is being sworn into the Board of Managers at the Chicago Bar Association. -

This is Just a Rad Picture
Not a Politician by Trade
Brendon loves history, punk rock (Riot Fest attendee most years), shawarma, burritos, old movies, softball, cocktails, and playing board games with friends. Politically, Brendon believes in union protections, direct democracy, serving those in need (“Whatsoever you do for the least of my brothers, you do for me.”), environmental conservation, and that a new generation of progressive politicians is needed to fulfill and exceed the aspirations of the early progressive movement.
